Backstory

A long time ago a secret community of mages who practiced dark magic was created. The community consisted of 20 mages, including the two leaders - Morrigan and Mot. They were powerful mages who wanted to get the powers of the gods. They didn't believe that the gods could protect the world from evil forces.

The mages didn't care about the ways to get to their goal : torture, murder were just a small sacrifice for them.

One day, searching yet another abandoned town for anything useful, Mot stumbled upon a ruined temple. He found a purple book on the altar : 'poena divina'. He took the book and read it all the same night. That's it! He found a ritual that would let him get divine powers! And it only required a small sacrifice : upon turning 18, his pure firstborn needed to be killed in a special potion. Mot was more than excited.

A week later, not telling about the plan to Morrigan, he seduced her. 'Lies for a great cause aren't bad.'

The child was born and given the name 'Teirar'. 'Terror. That's exactly what awaits the foolish gods.'

She woke up being chained to a piece of black wood with red runes on it. Under her stood a huge cauldron with a boiling red liquid. Near the cauldron stood the 18 members and her dad. 'What does all this mean, dad?!'- yelled Tei. 'You were created for this, naive child. This is your fate.' - calmly said Mot with a big smile. He reached out to a lever, but as he was about to pull it, he got hit with a spell. Morrigan was standing in the doorway, holding the poena divina in her hands and looking at Mot with animal rage. 'HOW COULD YOU DO..' - Morrigan got interrupted by Mot, who suddenly appeared near her and snapped her neck. 'You were always a troublemaker.'

Tei looked at the falling body of her mom with pure fear. Tears almost appeared-

Suddenly Mot pulled the lever and Teirar fell into the liquid.

A huge light ray appeared from the cauldron and caused an explosion.

Teirar woke up in an empty cauldron. As soon as she completely regained all the memory of what happened, she looked around : ruins of the building, fallen trees.. She turned her head to where the doorway was. Tei ran to that place and desperately, violently started throwing away the parts of the broken house..First, she found a broken piece of a mirror and looked at it shocked : her long white hair was now short and black, and so were her previously sky blue eyes.. Then she finally reached what she was searching for..her mom.. Morrigan was holding a now black book. Teirar took the book and hugged it tight as she started crying like a wounded animal..

Two more days Tei spent in the ruins of her previous home. She buried all the members.. They still were her family, even after the event.

Ever since that Teirar wandered the world, using the book as her magical staff. For a long time she didn't talk to anyone in fear of being betrayed again.
