Deadly Premonition Sequel
Rising Star Games has released Deadly Premonition for Nintendo Switch and announced that a sequel to the 2010 open-world horror game is set to launch in 2020.

Despite the fact that it was announced during a Nintendo Direct presentation, it has since come out (thanks, Push Square) from publishers Rising Star Games that Deadly Premonition 2 is a Switch exclusive “at launch.” This means that it will be a timed exclusive to Switch at least. With all the teasing Capcom has been doing for the Resident Evil 2 remake, it seems Deadly Premonition creator SWERY is teasing something of his own. In a recent posting on his Twitter page, Hidetaka can be seen sitting with Deadly Premonition producer Tomio Kanazawa and (apparently) someone from Rising Star Games.
Titled Deadly Premonition: Origins on Switch, the original game is priced at $29.99/£24.99 on Nintendo eShop.
Deadly Premonition creator Hidetaka ‘Swery’ Suehiro is writing and directing the sequel, which is titled Deadly Premonition 2: A Blessing in Disguise. It was announced during a Nintendo Direct live stream on Wednesday.
Rising Star Games subsequently told Nintendo Life that Deadly Premonition 2 will be a Switch exclusive at launch. It’s not currently discussing plans for other platforms.
